Following on from Thomas Hooper 1818 post could i get some census look ups any other info on his parents please.
On Thomas's post I was kindly given the following if this helps

John Hooper 1781-1842
Elizabeth Rankin 1777-1832

Their marriage
Dumfries-shire, Scotland, United Kingdom
John Hooper - Oxford Light Dragoons

Thomas christened
22 Jul 1818 son of John & Elizabeth Hooper, Ox Street, Oxford, occ Boatman

Father John on 1841
Lower Kidlington, Oxfordshire, England
Living with his daughter - Mary Ashley, her husband & children.

There isnt earlier census to see. I cant see John after 1841.
Possible death?
