i recently ordered the marriage certificate of a john brazier and hilda pinner in 1935 in rotherham, and on there the father of the groom is a thomas brazier but when i type the name into one of the census pages i have no idea which one he is, theres no thomas born in rotherham like the rest of the family and no one knows where he was born though it was around 1895.

if anyone knows or id love to talk to any relatives or know im stuck on this side of my family this is the last bit.

Put the details of the cert on ie names occpations witnesses

i bought the marriage certificate and it says the father of john brazier is a thomas braziera furnace fires man. cant find him anywhere or if looking for the right one.

what was his age on cert and who were witnesses kerry

there are two john brazier marriage in rotherham first one discounted as john j would have only been 13 if born c 1914 so above john c 1914 is proberly the one who married hilda pinner

the writing is bad on the certificate but it says john brazier was 21 in 1935 when he got married so i guess he was born 1914 in kimberworth park. it says the grooms father is thomas brazier and the witnesses are florence kathleen pinner and richard palmer and a john a. bell. they lived at 54 kimerworth park road, rotherham.

my great grand father is john brazier and i havnt spoke to nay memebers of my family in docaster/ rotherham for 10 years no one here has and my grand mother is very ill and doesnt remember the past anymore. so thats why im a bit stuck, i know john was born 1914 in rotherham theres no one i know of that can help i got his name from my dad and his dads name from the marriage certificate.
