Hi Peter
Sorry for the delay in replying, being semi retired I do some part time work to suppliment the pension and both the contractor have given me a lot to do the past week and I get home and the last thing i want to do is look at another computer.
I think that is the one - with UK Birth enquiries does it indicate that name of the mother and father? One of the other Layton's that has been in touch with me is trying through her father to locate Peter Greenwood, that side appears to be correct. Cheers Raymond

Hi Pete When I search Linda Fisher for a birth I get a Linda G Fisher mothers name: Hughes date july/aug/sept 1922 Stourbridge Worcestershire 6 c 33. but when I lookat the page she is not on it? How do I get to the next page? Cheers Raymond

hi raymond geoffrey was registered under his mother surname as he was born out of wedlock the layton underline is mother maiden name it might have something on his birth cert who father was but unlikely
