Wasn't impressed with the first two episodes of the current season. Just a bit too silly.

Hi mark, I liked David Tennant as Dr Who ,but i am getting used to Matt Smith. I think he's playing it on the funny side this time and of cause the writers changed which is a shame ,but i still love it and my two grandsons collect everything to do with it. Its Great!! Dt

Just watched the latest episode with grandson Jonathan - we both loved it, but it was a bit sad.

We are avid watchers here but have to agree with Mark, the first two of this series weren't so good, was it a different writer? Last night was much better, even though I always found those statues silly, I did like the actual plot and I think the three of them work so well together, even better when Alex Kingston joins them. I was really sad to see them go, especially as I love Rory with his sad puppy look.

I believe that the last writer left about the same time as David Tennant . I will ask my eldest grandson he's eighteen and knows everything about Dr Who.Dt

The old writer used to be Russell T Davies. There now seems to be a multitude of script writers one of them being Jack Lothian. That's probabley why the story lines are not so exciting.too many people having their input. Haven't quite pulled it together yet and Steven Moffat wrote for David Tennant .Dt
