An Afternoon in the Garden!

Post by Lulu »

So it had been dry for about three hours and the sun was out. I thought I'd risk the mud and go down the garden to put some stuff on the rotary drier at the bottom of the garden. Only I stepped out of the back door and couldn't seem to see the bottom of the garden, through the Weeping Willow. I thought my eye-sight had suddenly taken a turn for the worse. Then the penny dropped and I realised the Brook was fast rushing up my lawn and the Chickens were in need of rescue!!

Two hours later, after moving the bridge, then the Hen-house, and then after showering and then having to go and move the Hens again and showering again I am now sitting in my PJs, trying to ignore the shaking and bruising and have a strong suspicion that Wine O Clock will be coming early tonight!
