I gave up trying to correct people on Ancestry. I would provide B.D.M certificates and photographs from Church Registers and I would still get "But more people said this, so it must be true!" response.

The ones that amuse me are those you come across born in 'Dudley, Worcester, Massachusets' , probably because I live in Dudley, and some of my ancestors have been here for at least 500 years.
I suppose some of those people could have been born in Massachusets.....just a long time before the place existed!
Ps hope I spelled the place correctly!
