missing grandfather. ARC TBC?

Post by jbradley42991 »

We are trying to trace my grandfather John Henry Goodwin. He is on the 1911 census as Harry Goodwin married to Mary Anne Parsons. He was born about 1885. Grandmother died in 1932 and is buried in ST Johns Churchyard Halesowen. We then believe he moved to Fairfield Road Blackheath and probably died before 1938 although he was mentioned on my mothers wedding certificate it didn't say deceased. There were 5 children and they originally lived at Gorsty Hill.

Hi
This is the marriage I guess

1910
GOODWIN John H PARSONS Mary A Cradley Heath, Holy Trinity Sandwell Register Office 19/4/211

It would be safest to get the marriage details to get his father's name and occupation. I can see a John Goodwin the right age but he is down as born Windmill End, Dudley whereas the 1911 says Blackheath. [I don't think that is the right one anyway, think he is still a coal miner in 1911]
