Samuel Whitehouse 45 Locksmith
Sophia Whitehouse 40
Enoch Whitehouse 20 Miner
Edward Whitehouse 20
Emma Whitehouse 15
Sophia Whitehouse 13

What I find confusing is the marriage info for James daughter says
Marriage info
St Lukes Cradley Heath 13 July 1879
-George Taylor- 21-bach-labourer-Rowley Regis-George Taylor- Labourer
-Hannah Whitehouse-19-Spinster-Blackheath-James? Whitehouse-nailer
-banns
-X of both
-Wit-James Taylorand Elizabeth Riley X

Would James change occupation to a nailor? And the places from Wednesfield and Rowley? I'm no good on the area??

There are some trees on Ancestry, I was trying to work back from the daughter Hannah who married George Taylor.
one says
James Whitehouse and Hannah Thurman, they have a Hannah born Tipton 1858. She married Daniel Butler. So I think that can be crossed out.
another,
James and Hannah Edwards, their daughter born Blackheath 13th March 1860 registered 10 th May 1860. That shows she never married?
another from the same person has no mothers maiden name then on another tree has Hannah Gibbens. They dont have who she married.
This is the family I followed yestersay,

I may be wrong but I have a feeling that the James and Samuel are not connected to Hannah Whitehouse who married George Taylor. :?
1861 shows James with 2 children, no Hannah. I couldnt find that family in 1871.
On the info for Hannahs marriage it states she is from Blackheath and her father James a nailor.
Has anyone got any thoughts on this? Am I being blinded by Blackheath?

Sorry , not explaining myself.
James Whitehouse, father of Hannah Whitehouse.
On BCC it says Hannah Whitehouse married George Taylor. Hannahs father James Whitehouse and Mother Hannah Gibbons. James father Samuel.
The family with Samuel as head and a son James on the 1841 census appear to live close to each other on other census. There is a James but his wife is Elizabeth and no Hannah on the 1861 census and I couldnt find that family on the 1871.
I hope I have explained myself a bit better.
Jo :)
