where to go from here?
Hello - I am new to the forum. I have reached an impasse in my research. My great grandfather's birthplace is listed on the 1911 census as Italy and his nationality as italian. I would like to find out where in italy he was born and wondered if there were any government documents in this country that would have recorded this information. Can anyone please help or point me in the right direction?

Re: where to go from here?
Welcome Victorybiker, what bike ya got?
I'm glad (now I believe I'm actually tracing the correct family) that the family seems to have lived around Camberwell London. Even though I'm stuck in Wiltshire, with the helpful members of this forum, I'm finding it very pleasant.
Best wishes and luck in your research.
Cheers, Tony.

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
