Sad news for all sport lovers the passing away yesterday of Jack Taylor world cup referee.Born in Wolverhanpton 1930.

Yes Jack Taylor was a Wolverhampton lad although he spent his last days in shifnal
a great Wolves fan and a true gentleman.
Famously referreed the world cup final between Germany and Holland and managed to upset the Germans!
They then tried to have a go at him and all they could think of was saying Taylor you are an Englishman
but of course he truly was.

what insulting being called a englishman over 5 million since the last census are breaking there necks to be called the same :lol:
