Ha dos aspiradoras uno para arriba, por desgracia, I `m el único capaz de hacerlo, pero sí mantiene el polvo abajo-it` s sido un trabajo para cortar el césped puede tener que arrastrarse en un barco, si la lluvia doesn `t stop - siempre veo el chef palabra F por sus consejos sobre la cocina de los alimentos no es mejor, pero al menos puedo hablar como un local mejor ahora Rocky

Had to go through the MR check list with a polish patient the other day.
She could understand pretty much everything I asked (in english) but when I had to ask about liver complaints, she didn't know what the liver was. Having tried, in vane, to explain I resorted to google translate.
First I translated it from the danish, obviously my pronounciation wouldn't have been up to much so I wrote it down. The patient gave me a very blank look and told me she didn't understand. So I thourght I'd try from english to polish - it was like seeing a cartoon light bulb above her head!

What I recon happened was that the danish word for liver also happens to be the same as the word for living, no problem when it's in context but not good in google translate!
There are others too: the words for sheep/get and married/poison. That last one always cracks me up!!

I used to work in the travel industry in Personal and Training and it was my job to look after the new reps and visit them in resort if they were getting a bit homesick and were worth keeping. The company paid for me to study Spanish at Brasshouse in Birmingham and although I could get by, I never really became as good as I would have liked.

I remember calling one of our hotels in Mojacar once, looking for one of the reps. I thought I'd said, es possible hablar con Lisa por favor, esta es su madre Maggie, what I actually said, or what they thought I'd said was can I speak to Lisa's mother Maggie.

After about 15 minutes, and a thorough search of the hotel manager came back and said Maggie no esta aqui. I made sure I wrote down after that what I was going to say before I made the call.
