Hi. I am trying to find my grandfathers military records from WW2. He was in the RAF as a rear gunner in a Lancaster bomber. When I tried to apply on line with the MOD I discovered I do not have his official service number which it asks for. Can anyone advise me where I could possibly find this as it feels like I'm going round in circles trying to get this information.

info around the edge of my dad korea 51 -53 not the un one though
looks like ww1 was ww2 wasnt for lower awards and un arnt ?
