help finding a record

Hi,

I am struggling with finding some record of my grandfathers birth, I know that his name was Edward H Thompson and he was borin 21/2/1926 +1 however there does not appear to be any record of this on the ancestry or free BMD index.

There is another tree with someone else have the same name and DOB as being 19/2/1926 however my mom is adament that her fathers birthday was the 21/2...

can someone point me in the right direction please?

he was born in sunny birmingham BTW :-)

poss not registered to june qrt so might of had his birth registered late march early april ?
