is it possible too ...

Post by Karren »

hello

I have an address from a marriage certificate but cannot with the surnames I have, find a match in any census ..

Is it possible to isolate the address of a census online, so in my chosen year, it simply brings up the residents of X street?

Many thanks

Yes and no -- Find my past lets you search addresses for the census but can be very particular about how the address is recorded -- it can help to know the area ---

What address and which census are you looking to find?

The Genealogist has a terrific find the address search engine.

Combined with Find My Past I have always been able to locate the address.
