we have a birth certif for Mary emma guest mother Elizabeth Willetts
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =986102481

and then Wm Henry Guest /Leppard looks like born out of wedlock
so takes mothers name Elizabeth Leppard
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =121654193

but to be honest I am not sure
Nessa did you ever sort anything else out on Elizabeth Leppard?

Thank you for your replies, I haven't been able to sort out any more on the Leopard/Leppad/Guest saga, so I thought try working forward from her father Richard, I have read through all the 1841 census for Dudley and Sedgley on Ancestry without finding a single Leopard or Richard Willitts. The connection with the Jukes family as far as my father knows they have always been friends.

Perhaps this needs to go on the backburner for a year or 2.

Hi Nessa, I have the 1851 Census for the whole of Worcs on disc, no Leppards or Leopards on there either, wonder where Elizabeth got that name from :?: She must have changed her name for some reason, but as to why she chose Leopard :?: Suppose we will never know. I'll have a look on the local Archives Web Sites see if anything comes up there.
