Whole house just shook like a bowl of jelly and some photos fell from the wall. My dogs are now underneath my desk and wont let me get out of thier site. Chickens! As if I can protect them from the earth moving. We get lots of tremors but never a full blown earthquake. I reckon it would have been a 5 on the richter scale.

Good guess by me. It was a 5.2 and the epicenter was Moe, about 120KMs from here. Mum and dad might not have felt it even though they are much closer as they are on an island. My brother in law is only about 20kms from the epicenter so he might of got more of a shake.

It was very weird! I was at Tai Chi and didn't notice any shaking (probably thought it was my knees), but the metal on the roof made a terrific noise. It sounded like a helicopter was landing on the roof.
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.
