Ok, I am now completely confused :? Thomas is my gGrandfather and to my knowledge the girl he married was Annie Cooper. In the 1901 census I have them living in Windmill Hill, Colley Gate

Annie Davies 33 Chain Maker (small) Cradley WOR
Lucy C J Davies 11mo Cradley WOR

I have a marriage for Thomas and Annie in 1897 Sept qtr Vol 6c page 212 (not got cert yet)

I've been struggling to find census info for him for 1871/81/91 but have him in 1901 and 1911

PS.. Lucy was Lucy Constance Jemimah, hence the confusion as BCC shows Thomas married a Jemimah Bloomer.

It appears the fog clearing. There is no mention in the family that Thomas was married before Annie. Thanks for your help.
