Thomas Heathcock b1793 on BCC here:

I have come across some information which suggests he was at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 but it doesn't give any details. Does anyone have access to Findmypast to check for his military service records?

Also just found that, and this seems to be the only Thomas Heathcock on the Waterloo Medal Roll. If he served long enough, or was invalided out he would have a pension - these records would give us his place and date of birth.

Have just realised that you can search Findmypast without a subscription - you just cant see the records!
