Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone knows how to trace criminals records as found out tht my mother tut tut tut was in prison in the sixties same as her first husband, in birmingham

Where census records are available institution inmates and employees can be found but that doesn't help much regarding more recent investigations.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.
