Then in 1841 we have this (I can't find a Susannah Beese in the intervening years):

1841 Tower St, Dudley
Ann Round, 50, Nailer, Y
Thomas Round 15, Miner, Y
Ann Round, 10, Y
James Beese, 28, Miner, N
Susannah, 22, Nailer, Y

Next Door:
Edward Beese, 45, Miner, N
Elizabeth, 45, N
Sophia, 17, Dressmaker, Y
George, 15, Miner, Y
Thomas, 14, ditto, Y
Ann, 12, ditto (sic!), Y
Henry, 10, Miner, Y
Edward, 8, Y
Emma, 6, Y
Harriet, 4, Y
Ellen, 2, Y
Y/N = whether born in county.

There is also a marriage, 1850, St James, Lower Gornal, James Beese/Elizabeth Whale.

Confusing.
It looks like there may have been two James Beese's (or one bigamous one!) each with a daughter who married a Richard Russon?

It looks to me like a Thomas Beese married a Susannah
bapt for Emma is here
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... ndi=157643

Emma marries Richard Russon and is with him on census in 1881 1901 and 1911
in 1901 and 1911 in lancs
and in 1881 mother Susannah is with the couple

and then we have another Richard Russon who marries Elizabeth Beese she has parents James and Elizabeth
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =282994160

Emma is with mother Susannah down as Susan in 1871

1861 Susannah is with a Henry Brown as step dau
mother ann

Does Susannah marry a James Beese
then a Thomas?

it is odd this one
as the 1841 looks like the mother Ann now with a Henry Brown on the 1871
