Its difficult to know what to do next whithout getting birth certificates for all! Any suggestions?

It seems a very expensive shot in the dark to send for certificates!

Genesreunited seems to have the same Simon listed (by a member called Simon). If you are a member then you could contact him? I didn't see the others who Mark listed so perhaps there are multiple couples with this surname combination.
