*Arch tbc* -Edward Williamson 1814 Tipton, Staffordshire

Post by dianepearson79 »

Hello all,

Hope im in the right section if not im sorry :), contacted Northern Lass the other night and she told me to post, hope you can help and that i can help you to make the tree grow :)

This is what i have so far in my Tree :-

Edward williamson B: abt 1814 Tipton, staffordshire. D: 18 jan 1889 in Normanton, Yorkshire ( got the Death cert from an old box left by my Grandad)
Siblings:-

John williamson B: abt 1837 tipton Staffordshire
M: Sarah ( had 3 children that i know of so far)
Found on the 1871 England census, (by searching for my gggrandfather George Henry Williamson who was staying with him at the time)

Edward Williamson B: June 1843 Tipton Staffordshire, M: Nancy Saxon B: aug 1852 ( had 10 children that i know of) (1871 census shows Edward williamson father staying with them)

George Henry williamson B: 1855 West Bromwich, Staffordshire ( still searching for his B'cert) :( M: Caroline Barns B: 7 Oct 1855 Carters Green, West bromwich (had 8 children that i know of)

Samuel williamson B: 1845 tipton Staffordshire ( this is a new line that i have discovered recently, and is currently finding documents to confirm, also in contact with a decendant, within this line of research there is a good chance that i may have found the mother to the children Edwards wife. but will have to wait till i can get to London to confirm, or find the B'cert of george henry).

Thank you for reading

Just adding this to what is already on Connections

That 1841 looks good with the other bapts too.
Is your line George Henry Williamson?

So is that why you particularly need the birth for George to check mother on there?

Cos if the others are your sibs why not just confirm with one of their birth ceritf?

Also if that bapt is good then it should have the abode and occup on for kids of Edward and Jane and you can confirm maybe via the marriage certif for same kid.

Have we this family on the 1851 and 1861 ?

Wonder if it was mistranscribed

1854
Surname Forename(s) Sub-District Registers At Reference
WILLIAMSON George W Tipton Sandwell Register Office TIP/39/75

you could apply to sandwell and say you only want it if the father is Edward

I can look the marriages up if you know which ones you want....

I have to leave this now...is there any chance anyone could pick it up and add what is missing from connections for us please?
also any look ups add them to the look up requests and I will put them on the list
the marriages will tell us quite a bit

But think we need this family on other census

Hey Northern lass

Yeah george henry williamson is my line , the others i have found by census reports, the trouble that i have had with this is finding the whole family together on one report, they all seam to visit one another or send other sibs to vistit.

I have sent of for numerous birth certs for George but none have matched, finding his birth cert would be like winning the lottery to me :)
i have all the certs death/birth/ marriage of all his children, incuding his wife but his birth cert still seams to be outstanding :(
