Yes that's the correct family Pete, I grew up in Hawne Lane and parts of Hawne House were still there, over-looking Hayseech and Rowley Regis. Matthias Attwood's son was Thomas Attwood born 1783, he became MP for B'ham and a Political Reformer:-

I. Angela, m. 1 Sept, 1835, Daniel Bell Wakefield, of Wellington, New Zealand, Judge of the Supreme court there, and d. 30 Nov. 1874, leaving issue.

William Harper Brandreth, M.A. Christ Church, Oxon, rector of Standish, co. Lancaster, and hon. canon of Manchester, and Rural Dean of Leyland, and hads issue, Rosamund Carless.
