I'm currently working on my partners Mother's family and am stuck with the Rudge's. His Mum is Margaret Jane Rudge, and her father was Harry Arthur Rudge. Can anyone help ?

There's a Marriage B'ham Reg District 1947 for Harry Rudge and Margaret I ( the I could be miss transcribed) Berry, could this be who you are looking for :?: Have to be careful though as we cannot name living people on here, maybe Mods could delete the details once the OP posts again :?:

You need to give more info when was Harry arthur rudge born?

you need to find out the maiden name of your partners mothers mother

there is a marriage in Walsall JUne qtr 1941

which matches with a birth on ancestry

you need to really get a certif

If it is the correct one then you would get father for Harry on marriage

it could be this birth
Births Sep 1920
Rudge Harry A Marlow Walsall 6b 1393

and then this marriage
Marriages Sep 1899
Allen William Walsall 6b 1202
Barker Rose Walsall 6b 1202
Marlow Florrie Walsall 6b 1202
Rudge Frank Walsall 6b 1202

the marriage for your Harry Arthur rudge will have father on and may be Frank rudge

Then this could be the parents of Frank Rudge

Lees Drusilla Walsall 6b 1002
Matthews Charles Henry B Walsall 6b 1002
Parkes Ellen Walsall 6b 1002
