Could someone connect Charlotte on BCC here:

- don't want to mess things up if I make a mistake with the connection!!

I can then add some more details, including connecting her Downing ancestors with those already on BCC.
Also have more details and a query about her father which I will add later.

Thanks NL. Did you notice that Charlottes husband James Shakespeare is a witness to second marriage of Joseph Hadley, husband of her sister Sarah?

Also, I am curious about the Ellen Sheldon who was marriage witness to Thomas Pugh & Eliza Downing - James Shakespeare's great grandmother was an Ellen Sheldon (b 1799) but her married name was Henley. Is this just a coincidence?....or is there another connection somewhere?
