John Ward married to Elizabeth Groves in 1769 in Wednesbury where they lived & raised 10 children. This was John's second marriage.

Their son Joseph Ward was born in Wednesbury in 1773 ~ he married to Sarah Fox in West Bromwich
in 1802. Joseph & Sarah had 7 children, the first born in Dudley & the remaining children were all born in Tipton.

Their son William Ward was born in Dudley in 1804. He married to Margaret Breeze & they had 12 children born in Tipton.
