To linell ablert had 2 children bert j eastelow and joyce o eastelow and he had an adopted daughter joan all I have found out albert (bert) was my great grandad he died 1999 and he was married to a lady maiden name malone he served in ww2 as a doctor and as I said had 2 children bert who now lives in australia but I have no trace of him and joyce who was my nan who died 2009 but before she died she said she never met her grand parents and she remembers albert (bert) sayin our name was hastelow but I can't find any link to hastelows or any1 before my great grandad

I've entered all the information I can for those who are dead - we can't put living people's info on Black Country Connections. You'll see that you go back to rural Warwickshire in the 1700s and under the Hastilow / Hastilow surname - your Nan and Albert were right!
