John Meese (Sarahs father) was bapt 4 Jan 1778 at Brierley Hill, s of Thomas and Mary.

Can't find marriage for Thomas & Mary - there is a submitted one on IGI to a Mary Cartwright 15 Oct 1775 at Kingswinford which needs checking against original as I think Kingswinford is well covered on IGI so I have my doubts.
Incidentally the marriage 2 Nov 1778 at Kingswinford to Mary Johnson belongs to a different Thomas Meese who lived, and had children in Dudley (including among them a William Johnson Meese so I'm sure that's them).

That's brilliant - saves me a trip to record office! - do you by any chance have the details for the Mary Johnson marriage (2 Nov 1778)?

Thank you - that was quick!

Both Thomas's were from Kingswinford - one bapt 1751 and one bapt 1758 : trying to sort which was which, but know they are closely related. Think we need the burials for them and their wives and hope their age is given.

Both Thomas's were cousins:
Joseph 1719-1803 ( m Ann Read) and Thomas 1729 (m Ann Gregory) were brothers, sons of William Meese (1690-1751) and Jane

I'll look thru the disc, and post what I find, just for those 2 Thomas's?

That would be brilliant - and their wives ( Mary) would be a great help. I suspect the one couple may be more likely at Brierley Hill as that's where most of their children were bapt, and the other couple possibly Dudley, but Kingswinford is of course a possibility for both. It's the burials really - have the bapts for all their children.

Which disc do you have?
