I am home. Discharged myself as I didn't see any point in taking up a hospital bed when I can have a nurse visit a couple of times per day at home to check the bleeding etc.

Hadn't been on here for a couple of weeks, or so. Sorry to hear you had to have an Op. Glad the tests were clear. Hope they bleeding sorted you out....No! Sorry, that's not right. Hope they sorted out your bleeding. Rest and get well soon.

How's it going, Mark? Hope you are no longer a little Aussie bleeder.
At least you had a good excuse for staying indoors in the warm.

It has stopped bleeding but the pain is way beyond what it should be this far out from the operation.

The scar is about 8cm long and is concave. As my daughter said, it went from and outie to an innie.

No sign of infection so I can only assume the pain is due to the large amount of material removed.

I can't take the same level of pain killer at home as in hospital so that is one drawback of coming home....

So I stayed up all night watching the Maerican Indycar and then Nascar racing.
