Thomas born about 1860 Cradley parents William Ashmore 1819-1892 born Stone mother Mary Oliver formerly Crowe born at Bewdley about 1829, I have Thomas in 1861 living in Cradley and 1871 living Howards Yard Stourbridge, I can't find anything else my mother can't remember her grandfather John Ashmore talking about any siblings. I don't know if he married or when he died.

The Cradley Vicar's Notes have Wm and Mary living in New Street Cradley 1857 - Wm Ashmore Gledes - Greek word for Committing Adultery. Wife Mary one daughter Ann who is at home.

(I would think the committing adultery was with Mary, probably not his legal wife )

Thank you for the help, William didn't marry Mary until 4.12.1859 before that he was married to Charlotte Smart and I believe she was Anne's mother but she died, just told my mother as William was her 2x grandfather she was quite shocked at this news !!!
