I'm trying to find out about a Lilie Hale, problem is I don't know much!!
She was an execurix on HL Fellows' (The Grove Mellish Road, Walsall) will.
According to the will she was his niece, and a widow. Her address is given as Lawnside, Dingle Road, Pedmore near Stourbridge. I don't know if she's from his side of the family, or from his wife Matilda Danks side of the family.
What I do know is that I haven't come across a Lillie for any of HL's siblings, although his brother Ernest Bloomer Fellows was married to a Lily Trueman, but they lived in Nottinghamshire, and the only child I've found was Ernest Fellows.
The other siblings of HL were:
Hannah M Fellows (also known as Annie) worked as a music professor
Mary Jane Fellows (also known as Jennie) worked as a school mistress
Edward Luther Bloomer Fellows (died as a baby)
Frank Kossuth Fellows married Eveline Annie Evans, living in Bristol by 1911
Ernest Bloomer Fellows married Lily Trueman, living in Nottinghamshire by 1901
I haven't found spouses for HL's two sisters.
Hope someone can help!

Re: Lilie Hale
Not hugely helpful but there is a death for a Lillie Hale in 1944 age 64 i.e. b 1880 (doesn't seem to be any probate record for her).
As she's a widow in 1938 I searched for marriages of a Hale and a Lillie/Lily/Lillian etc from 1898 to 1938 but found none.

what dates the will executed ?
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

It was written one day before HL died; on the 6th October 1938 and proved on the 10th January 1939.
One thing I did notice: HL left £100 to his brother Frank Kossuth Fellows. Frank died in the december of ´38, so before the will was proved. Would his estate have recieved this legacy?

Re: Lilie Hale
I think I've cracked it!!
I finally deciphered another name on the will: another niece Maud Helena Moulder. She could be Maud Helena Smith who's mother is Betsy Danks, and therefore HL's sister in law. Maud had a sister Lily!
Awaiting look up's for confirmation!!
There is another name on the will, an Ann Eleanor B....., that needs some more work!
