Re: Darby /Taylor connection ?
Is Mary Pearson Darby on 1901 and 1911 Census
Perrens might have been written wrong on 1854 marriage record ?
Perrens might have been written wrong on 1854 marriage record ?
Re: Darby /Taylor connection ?
Perrens may be red herring and this marriage looks more likely as two children have Gould second christian name

Re: Darby /Taylor connection ?
William Taylor on 1911 Census ( wid) married 56 years which ties up with 1855 marriage to Sarah Gould at Amblecote plus fact that son is Thomas Gould Taylor plus fact that Sarah noted as born Amblecote on one Census Record
Re: Darby /Taylor connection ?
All complete and have sorted out Taylor, Southwick, Bowater and Darby families all on bcc
but with some slight errors
connections all made by Census records which tie up nicely as these families kept visiting each other or were witnesses at weddings

Need two marriage look ups to take further and will add for look up

Re: Darby /Taylor connection ?
Elizabeth Bowater who married John Darby
Is I believe Elizabeth Southwick
as families listed above used Bowater as a second christian name
posted marriage look up to try and sort

Re: Darby /Taylor connection ?
John Darby did marry Elizabeth Southwick but in Birmingham 1874
but will leave that other marriage as it will help to eliminate John Darbys on bcc from equation
