Now I have had a quick look at this and it is a wonderful puzzle...well I think it is...

I am going to change his kids names to Garbett as that is what they were christened and that is what they were registered at
can't post them all now but all on IGI and some on free bmd

So why on earth did he call himself Willetts..

I think he was bapt at Bilston in 1806 and his mother was unmarried!
She may be a Margaret Garbett

So maybe father for William Willetts Garbett was a Willetts.... :?
