Born Hannah Smith, later Cooper, widow. In the 1841 census Hannah Cooper was living with William Blott in Oldbury Road, Smethwick, and had two children, Hannah Cooper aged 5 and Thomas Cooper aged 4. The couple married in the same year. In the 1861 census several people are lodging with the widowed Hannah Blott at 148 Duke Street, West Bromwich, several with her maiden surname Cooper. Thomas Cooper appears to be her son:

She married WILLIAM WOOD 18 May 1863 in Christ Church, West Bromwich, Staffs, son of WILLIAM WOOD and ANN UNKNOWN. He was born Abt. 30 Sep 1832 in Alveley, Shropshire, and died 04 Feb 1898 in 14 Wesley Street, Oldbury, Worcestershire.
