Troman Family
Hi, I'm new to the forum and trying to build our family tree for the grandchildren. The family names I'm interested in are Troman,Adams,Boucher,Priest,Bennett & Gadd. Also can anyone help with information about "The Royal Oak" Lomey Town.My great grandfather kept it around 1880 for about 20 years & his father I believe came from Plants Green. Regards, Stan.

Hi Stan and welcome you made it!

If you look at the main board index you will see a section called Black Country Genealogy post
anything you would like info with re your family on there.
maybe a separate post for each family ie plants tromans etc.
Have a look at the Black Country Connections tree and see what we have on the tromans and if you
have more info post in that section I mentioned

Re: Troman Family
There is a picture of the Royal Oak in the book 'Cradley Heath and Old Hill' by Ron Moss. The picture was taken in 1959, and had tie bars around the building to prevent it from Mining Subsidence.
