While looking for a burial in the cemetery register its said Area N PVT instead of a number like the others had , does this mean a paupers grave.

Purely guesswork but might it be Area N : the part of the cemetery and PVT : private e.g. part of a family tomb.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

Thank you SRD for your help, N is the area like you say and I never thought about Private and I think you are right , I just kept thinking of P for Pauper.
