Hi all need some help with this family please:-

Thomas MARSH Head M Male 27 Rowley Regis, Stafford, England General Labourer
Sarah MARSH Wife M Female 27 Dudley, Worcester, England
Sarah WICHERLEY Mother In Law M Female 59 Dudley, Worcester, England
Daniel LOWE Visitor M Male 47 Rowley Regis, Stafford, England Breeze Merchant (Coke)
Martha LOWE Visitor M Female 48 Dudley, Worcester, England


I know that Thomas Marsh is 100% who I think he is, but not sure on Sarah, I have her as Sarah Jane Jones born Dudley 1856. Marsh Thomas JONES Sarah J Dudley, St James Dudley Register Office 202/006/141 1871. BUT mother is Wicherley on the Census, I suppose she could have Married again, although I cannot find a marriage for a Sarah Jones to a Wicherley Will ask for a marriage look up, if anyone can add anything that would be great thankyou.

This is the only Sarah Wycherley that I can find on the census in the right area, but their daughter is Emma on both 1861 and 1871 census, there is no sign of a daughter Sarah of the right age.

This is weird, The Sarah with daughter Emma is below in 1881.
Emma Wicherley also appeared to marry a MARSH

Sorry Jan, it is not that Thomas, the Cert has father as William, should be John Could be son of Wm born 1832 son of Edward Marsh 1793 and Hannah Griffiths. which would make him my Thomas's Uncle.

Will have a look later, am doing my granddaughter's homework at the moment.

Sorry Jan, cannot find anything on Thomas Marsh who Married Sarah Jane Jones I don't know who he was, funny he is living next to my Marsh family in Lion Lane RR 1881. Just shows how important it is to have these Marriages looked up, many thanks again to RF.
