From Blackheath Roll of Honour found two brothers died in WW1

Albert Crumpton aged 24 Lance Corporal 19734 4th Worcesters Died 9/10/1917 of Oldbury Road
CWGC notes son of Elizabeth Sherwood of Oldbury Road
Brother John William died a year later also noted on Roll of Honour

Blackheath St. Pauls WW1 Roll of Honour
John William Crumpton Private 93231 20th Durham Light Infantry died 25th October 1918 . Of Oldbury Road.
CWGC notes son of Elizabeth Sherwood ( Formerly Crumpton) of BullsHead Oldbury Road and son of late James Crumpton
Brother Albert died year before and is also on Roll of Honour

Would like to go back with family as found mother married a William Sherwood and her maiden name was Hodgetts

William Sherwood Head 51 Collier Hewer born Oldbury Worcs.
Married 2 years ,10 children,7 living ( crossed out )
Lizzie Crompton wife 45
Married 2 years , no children
Albert Crompton son 18 Iron Worker
Willie Crompton son 12 School
Lillie Crompton dau 8
Rest born Blackheath Staffs.
