1881 census lookup for Henry Ball ARC TBC?

I am looking for the whereabouts of Henry Ball born 1843 in Hoyland, Yorkshire. Henry married Jane and on the 1881 and 1891 census Jane was by herself with the children and her marriage status reads as married.

this is the family on the 1871 census

Jane BALL wife f 26 1845 Yorkshire
Mary BALL daug f 6 1865 Yorkshire
Walter BALL son m 4 1867 Yorkshire
William Henry BALL son m 1 1870 Yorkshire

and then this Jane with the children on the 1881 census, where was Henry?

Jane BALL wife married 36 wife of colliery contractor Hoyland, Yorkshire
Walter BALL son not married 14 coal miner Hoyland, Yorkshire
Wm Heny BALL son not married 11 errand boy Hoyland, Yorkshire
Kate BALL dau 8 scholar Hoyland, Yorkshire
Joseph BALL son 6 scholar Hoyland, Yorkshire

Could have left the family, or been away in the Army or Working. Jane would say she was Married as she was, does Henry show up on any later Census entry Linell.

Henry does not show up again with the rest of the family and their last child was born in 1880 and on the 1911 Jane's marriage status is widow.

please can anyone help me find Henry Ball?

It's not that easy Duchess, common name and he could have changed it, died, or emigrated somewhere
