Just been trying to tidy up my tree ... not easy as I had lots of duplications due to people marrying cousins etc :shock:

There is at least one tree on Ancestry which has this Hannah PARSONS , who is on BCC here

They have her down as the daughter of William PARSONS (b.1738 Rowley Regis)
and Betty WILLETTS ( b. abt.1738 Rowley Regis)
who are on BCC here

If this is correct .. Hannah's son... Josiah HACKETT (b.1811 Rowley Regis) married his cousin Ferlenna PARSONS ( b. abt. 1811 Rowley Regis)
... which would not have been unusual, from what I can see of this family :roll:

Can anyone confirm or dismiss this possible connection?

Not made this connection before as :-
Hannah is 70 on 1841 Census 26/10/1772 and found all other children of William Parsons and Betty but no Hannah
Found an Hannah Parsons dau of Sarah Parsons baptised 30/1/1768 ( Thus out of wedlock)
Marriage of Joseph Hacket bach. & Hannah Parsons Sp. 26/10/1789
Could look for Sarah Parsons mother of Hannah between 1700 and 1750 but no way of proving link

we have Josiah Hackett here as son of James Hackett and Hannah Parsons but this Josiah marries Sarah Priest

as we have this Josiah with a bapt linked to same family
