Could anyone look for Francis in 1911 census Cradley/Cradley Heath could be married to Ann Marie. He was c chainmaker.

I had found a WW1 record for Francis with his next of kin Ann Marie Newtown Cradley so that ties up nicely, but stangley he joined the Oxford and Bucks Regiment.

Nessa, men could join which regiment they wanted to, the Oxford Bucks Regiment was a famous Infantry regiment. Bit like today where all young Soldiers want to join the Parachute Regiment.
