ARC TBC............Kezia Taylor and Thomas Hill married 1878

Post by expat66 »

This is a spin off from the John and Harriet Taylor thread

On the 1861 census... the daughter's name was transcribed as Heria, but on closer inspection it looks like Kezia

I found a marriage which seems to fit ..for Kezia Taylor and Thomas Hill in 1878, which I will post for lookup

1878..TAYLOR Kezia.... HILL Thomas ...Dudley, St Thomas Dudley Register Office 204/035/68

I wonder if Thomas Hill is this one on BCC?

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... ill-Family

I have 1881 census which I think is them
Carters lane, Lapal, Worcestershire, England
Thomas Hill(37) carter born Lapal,
wife Kezia(25) born Quinton,
sister Emily Hill(24) unmarried..nailmaker..born Lapal,
niece Eliza(4) born Lapal

I haven't been able to link up any of this particular Taylor family with any Taylors on BCC yet..
I don't know whether anyone else can see a link?
... and I haven't got any further with Kezia's parents, don't have their marriage yet either.
there is another thread running for them
