You have just achieved more in 10 minutes than I have in 6 months, boy I'm glad I found this forum!
Tell me it gets easier?
Is there a general pattern of research? I'm still at the stage of entering random names I have into searches, trying to get information together on PAF (don't know if this is a good programme or not?)
The other brick wall I have hit is finding Campion Wallace's marriage, (not 100% they did marry) to Eva Eldridge, (I'm clearly not very good at this).
I found a marriage with Henry Wallace and Eva Eldridge, is it a possibility he gave an incorrect name, or would there have been checks, etc? I suppose the certificate is the only way to tell?

That marriage looks correct, Eva Eldridge's father was Frederick George Eldridge, so that matches.
Also Campion/Thomas/Henry was in the Royal Engineers so thats definitely him too.
I'm confused with the names repeating themselves on the census' though, I thought he was born 1876, but only because I found a birth index of the name Campion Thomas Wallace and thought it had to be the right one., also a death index that says he died in 1951/1952, and it says age 76.
What can I be sure of from the census results?
I have gone from having no info to being overwhelmed with it :lol:

Don't take too much notice of ages in census's etc, they can be out.
