) Did anyone watch this on Monday evening?Two points. It was good to see the Wives of serving men in The Forces, actually brought to the fore and taken notice of. I spend a lot of my time supporting my Daughter in Law, while my son is at sea. Military Wives have a rough deal, so often left hundreds of miles from friends and family, bringing up children as a virtual single parent. There isn't enough support for them and the 'Wives Network' can be a bit cliquey.
It was really good to see those girls working together and the end result was really moving, so much so that both Hubby and I were crying.
The other point is, the song. It's a beautiful song and I love Adele's interpretation of it, you can hear it here CLICK HERE Now what really surprised the both of us is that Bob Dylan wrote it. I have not changed my opinion of the man, I still think his singing is a big pile of pants and am not open to discuss on that but fair play to the man, he did write a lovely song there.
