Do You Have A Collection?

Post by Lulu »

No, I don't mean passing the plate in Church.

I've collected various things over the years, Glass Friggers, Charlotte Read Pottery, Husbands...ooops! Enought about that

I had said, no more. My collecting days are over. The house is full, there is no more room. That is, until we went to my 'Adopted' Daughter's house recently and noticed her growing collection of small pottery houses. I asked about them and she said they were KLM Delft Houses, Click Here To See given out to their First Class Customers. Unfortunately, I then looked them up on E-Bay, saw they were quite cheap and now I have a new collection. I've told myself to have a month off from buying, as it was getting silly but I was wondering, does anyone else get bitten by the collecting bug?

I loathe any form of housework, so am convinced I must be mad Linell. Is it Robbie's Birthday? I'm just trying to catch up with everything today, been a very busy bee for weeks, having a bit of a day off today. Might get dressed in a minute.

I had 14 houses but when i had the builders in to knock a wall down a couple fell off the mantelpiece.
They never warned me they were going to start drilling!!
I go to loads of jumble sales, record fairs, antique fairs.Well i did but my wifes forbid to buy anything else.
I have loads of football and pop memorabilia going way back.I've just brought a casefull back from England that my mom had in the attic for over 40years.I'd forgotten about them.A complete collection of Goal magazine!!
Records.78's 45's LP's Cassettes Cd's Mp3's.
Music instruments.I treat myself every year. This year maybe a saxophone.I've wanted one ever since i saw Robert Di Niro in New York New York.Cool or what!!
Walking sticks.I find you start collecting things before you realise that you have 3 or 4.
They say Sparky that having girls is a sign of maculinity!! I have 3 daughters!!

Seems Walking Sticks feature a bit in collections mine though are of the glass variety, so not very practical and I can't see me doing much smoking with my glass pipes either.

Sparky, that's an impressive collection of girls!!

Still not dressed but have been on the the phone for the last 40 minutes. Time to get dusting.
