William Rollinson & Catherine Lewis

Post by KayM »

I would like to add further descendants of miner John Rollinson & Elizabeth Smith to BCC. http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/family-tree/bcconnections/124144/46250/John-Rollinson-Family

Oldest son William chr 1815, I know was still around in 1842 as he was witness to sister Ann's wedding.

I think he married Catherine Lewis 7 Jun 1835 at St Thomas, Dudley. No parents recorded on familysearch.

I have them at King St Willenhall in 1841, 1851 and at Willenhall Rd 1861 1871 1881.
http://mcmeekinfamily.tribalpages.com/family-tree/mcmeekinfamily/2996/103/William-Rolinson-Family

No proof though, other than that his age ties in with 1815 baptism. (And I think his brother Samuel is also in King st in 1851)

But there is also a marriage of a William Rolinson to Susannah Campbell in 1837 also St Thomas though I can't see any trace of them.

Any ideas?

Thanks Jimmy.
With no father's name not much further forward.

Can you see a father for the marriage of William Rollason to Catherine Lewis 7 Jun 1835 at St Thomas, Dudley? Now I can't see that record either. Think I am losing the plot! :?

Thanks for birthday wishes!

Have added look ups so this is complete.

Pretty sure the Catherine Lewis one is right as they also had a daughter Miranda, a name that features in the family!
