Even us Aussies remember him on Top Of The Pops.

Just reading his biography and he was a high level freemason as well as receiving the KCSG from the Pope. Very unusual to see those two go together!

I remember the young girl accidently dropping a very valuable vase on Antiques Roadshow to the horror of onlookers. They explained it was all part of a prank for Jim'll fix it, which we never got down under, so that left me confused!

Always sorry to see such a person go, especially one who did so many good works, but personally I couldn't stand him, either as a DJ or on Jim'll Fix It.

Hows about that then - I too remember him dropping that vase. He bought such a lot of happiness to so many kids - much loved - RIP Jimmy Saville - Great guy ....
