Abit of history This photo has come from my shakespeare line,Henry Walter Shakespeare 1870 - 1902,his wife Elizabeth Shaw 1874,Elziabeth married Charles Patcehtt in 1906.Just wondering if anyone can help indentify who they are & why it has come to us shakespeare.There is a front & a back

I dont have anything my uncle might have something hopefully,should be going to see him in the next mth.Am hoping he has some photos of henry because i would love to see what he was like.I know elizabeth had a younger brother called john,& charles patchett parents are joseph patchett 1850 clara 1851 born in brierley hill

Is there a date or postmark on the postcard niki?

There is no date or any sort of postage on it.so could of been sent with something to be hand delivered to her.Going to look into the patchett side as charles had afew sisters.

do you live near the archives niki?

might be worth going thru the electoral registers for the war years

what sort of date do we think that post card is
1914? 1918?

If that is our annie and it could well be aged 8 in 1911 another 7 years aged 15

right age to be with a young man :grin:
