Possible reasons for admittance to a clinic?
Someone on my tree was admitted to a clinic but I have no idea what it specialised in, other than a reference in a medical journal to it - but without the access to read the journal I wonder if there is any way of discovering what the clinic's specialities were back in the 1960s?

The Ross Clinic was opened in 1959 and offers psychiatric services.

Article BJP July 1962 108:447-456;
"The adult psychiatric services for the region are centred at the Ross Clinic in Aberdeen. The Clinic, which opened in July, 1959,is an early treatment and ..."
would that fit?

Re: Possible reasons for admittance to a clinic?
The clinic itself was subsumed into a hospital and aside from a phone number I can trace no way of contacting them. Wonders if anyone living in Aberdeen can help me with any background to this place? It seems to have shifted its focus over the decades. Also does anyone know the rules on confidentiality of medical records when the patient is deceased?
