Completed:Help with a will please

Post by gardener »

Hi
Could someone please give me the details of Anc. entry for will/probate entry for William Lord Watts dated 1921? I would like in particular to know where the will was proved.
Thanks :-)

Hi
I've tried searching ancestry for William Lord Watts 1921 and got no definite response -- just lots of variations of William Lord and William Watts -- have you got any other info?

Hmm.
I just put in the search all boxes

First and middle names: William Lord
Last name: Watts

Hit search, and it comes up as the 3rd entry, England and Wales national probate etc.

Surprises me as he had taken USA citizenship and died en route from England to Trinidad on a French ship, so I didn't expect an English probate entry at all.
Appreciate any help.
